Continued progress on the Neiman Marcus Scrapbook

7.3.24 – 2 hrs

I continue adding cross-reference metadata between the UNT Digital Library and the TFC metadata. I discovered some of the TFC assets have descriptions but no photos, but I am proceeding by adding the descriptive metadata to the digital library. Then, once the TFC has an image, at least half of it will be completed.

7.4.24 – 2hrs

I have completed another 45, doubling my original project goal! It would be great if I could finish all four volumes before the end of my practicum!

7.5.24 – 1 hr.

Part of our ongoing discussion has been how to best utilize or enhance controlled or authorized vocabulary in the apparel or clothing archival aspect. I had a few moments to poke around online to see what I could find. I usually find myself at FIT first, but another resource Ailie gave me was the Costume Society of America. I will look into that one as well. During my search, I found an article I will be reading and digging into to understand this research assessment.
